So about how I’ve been trying to start this blog for over a year now. Let’s just say that I’m a master procrastinator.
A lot has changed in this past year and a half since I first set out to write a food blog. I’ve had two birthdays, I’ve moved (okay, just down the street), but most importantly I attended culinary school at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris this past Summer. Since returning to New Orleans I have felt that something major has been missing. I’m afraid Paris has taken a part of me. Lol jk I just haven’t been cooking enough. So I decided to finally get my ass into gear and get Go Stuff Yourself up and running. You can expect to see pretty much anything on here. Basically just a ton of recipes, restaurant reviews, how-to videos, and whatever I’m stuffing into my face at the moment.
I guess this is when I’m supposed to tell you a little bit about myself, even though I’m pretty sure the only people that are going to be reading this blog are my family members (Hi Mom!). My name is Kelsie, I grew up in Connecticut, and I’m 22 years old. Three years ago I decided it was time for a change, a week later I was moving into my new apartment in New Orleans, Louisiana. Hands down the best decision I’ve ever made. Just like everyone else who has ever set foot in this city, I fell in love with it. Over the past three years I’ve been lucky enough to listen to kick ass music, eat delicious food, and make some positively incredible friends. I thought this blog would be the perfect way to record and share my final year in New Orleans with anyone who cares to read about it.
Thanks for your support! Be sure to check back soon for some drool worthy food stuff. I’m not totally sure how to end this so I think I’m just going to leave you with this. Baby bye, bye, bye 😉
xoxo Fat Kelsie
